i feel like, every time i go shopping with my mom, i always end up hating whatever it is im shopping for. today was no different because we went furniture shopping, and then i realized that-----i really HATE furniture shopping. so in the car while i was sulking, i was thinking about the top three things that i really hate shopping for, and i think i have it. actually, im pretty positive i have it.

THIRD
           dress shopping - the first really bad experience was when i went prom shopping with my friend. we literally spent four hours at one mall, going back and forth to each store, searching for that perfect dress. by the fourth time around to those same stores again, i was just like, c'mon already. you can't blame me for being blunt and telling you truthfully that one looks uglier than the other, because that's just my way of telling you to hurry your ass up. the second kind of dress shopping is wedding dress shopping. my sister got married last year, and oh my goodness. not only are those wedding dress shops humongous but boy are those things heavy! i was not happy lifting dress after dress through those stores, trying to side step other people's trains.

SECOND
           furniture shopping - there's not much i can say why i hate doing this, i just do. how hard is it to pick furniture? you have an idea of what you like in your mind, go into a nice store, and find it. of course it has to be comfortable and durable, and i get that, but does it really take six hours to figure that out?

FIRST
           shopping for my mother - only because every thing i buy, she wants to return. it gets frustrating sometimes because sometimes its either too expensive, or too ugly, or not her style. but then if i ever opt to not get her anything, then she'll be upset at me for not getting anything for her. it's really a lose lose situation for me.
