what...happened...
there was seriously no notice from the bank itself of the consolidation until i drove past the bank this morning and saw that it was green. so now, im wondering if im still a commerce user of if im a td user now, and if it doesn't work like that, then holy shit. where is all my money? where are the safety deposit box contents?
so i look up the story online, and apparently td [td waterhouse, this is where you've heard of them. big stock fund] had bought out commerce bank for 8.5 million. [seriously, where do they still have the money to do this? --i thought we were in a financial crisis?] long story short, td bank is gluing their sign and color over the old commerce signs. they're keeping everything else within the actual bank the same, including lollypops and doggie treats. i wonder if we get green apple lollypops now instead of the usual red cherry ones?
our economic crisis has gotten me a bit antsy. i won't lie. we are in such a rut, i don't even see how it'll get better for us.
well...

lol I got freaked out when I saw TD bank replace Commerce without any warning. Apparently they were supposed to send out letters telling customers of the change but I never got one, it was pretty sudden. We shall see if they really are the same :P. I tried to comment under my livejournal name but it won't let me for some reason.
