stalkers

Nov 13, 2008 0
no wonder why there are so many stalkers in this world right now. the technology now makes it THAT much easier to stalk people.

and i just found another way.

first it was facebook [yes, admit it, everyone gets a facebook just to stalk other people]. and NOW! there's virtual earth!!! its so cool. you can see your home now in bird's eye view, which is 10x better than aerial view, meaning you can view the house from the south, west, east, AND the north. then there's also a 3D feature. but i haven't seen how that works yet because my safari doesn't support it.

try it and be amazed --- maps.live.com

CMA's '08

[that kinda looks like obama '08 when you just glance at it doesn't it?]

ANYWAY

it's no surprise that i love, love, love country music, and therefore i love carrie underwood. i just have to say, she won. take that taylor swift.
she changed like what? seven times? --staying true to the country queen. but reba mcentire had a world record of like, 50 outfits one time. but i can't say i liked all of the dresses she had. i don't know, you guys can see for yourself. i think i liked the gold one the best. she won in the frilly black one.

HSM series

Nov 11, 2008 0
i've caught onto the high school musical fever, just like the rest of the 1.5 million little kids. [but i'm sure like, a couple thousand of the millions are adults like me--or so i like to think] hsm for me is just like any other romantic drama. its really cute and the songs are VERY catchy.

i still haven't watched hsm3, but i'm already in love with the music on it. i really want to watch it, but no one will watch with me...go figure. either you're afraid to admit that you're just dying to watch it, or you're just stuck under some rock and won't budge.

like the title suggests, its senior year for these high schoolers. im not in high school anymore, but i certainly remember being a senior in high school, even though im about to become a senior in college now. [seriously, you can never be too old to enjoy disney films] hehehe.
i remember prom, college applications, and falling in love--all at once.

what i love about the hsm songs, is that they kind of grow with the movies. the meaning behind them get more mature as the kids get more mature. i love this single song ["can i have this dance"] in the movie. i've seen clips of it, and i think it can easily be my favorite part in the entire movie. i love the meaning behind this particular song, and it really warms my heart because it can totally be a wedding song. haha.

obama '08

Nov 5, 2008 0
so starts the year of change.

i just got a disturbing look of disgust from a roommate's friend:

"hey kasie, guess what, MY president's black."

---really...i didn't notice.
if this is the type of change this brings forth, then no, i still want the maverick.

god i hope he proves me wrong
4 years
all the democrats in the street are going crazy [esp. college students] shouting fuck you, fuck you to republicans. this is real mature guys. yes, i see that this is a big change in america, for a black man to be president, but this isn't all that you should have voted him for. half of these people don't know the very beginning of how policies work within the government...and it makes me sad that our nation was so divided these past few months because we simply wanted *change.* ask yourself what kind of change you wanted to see--change for a black man to sit on the hot seat and not a white man?
it'll take more than one obama to change where we are now, but for the sake of our country, for the sake of my children's country, let's hope obama can carry forth the heavy reforms we all want...

commerce what?

Nov 1, 2008 1
i felt like all of us commerce bank users were just pleasantly surprised when i drove by our bank this morning. the always obnoxiously red bank was now an obnoxious pea green with the words TD Bank spread across the top of the bank.

what...happened...
there was seriously no notice from the bank itself of the consolidation until i drove past the bank this morning and saw that it was green. so now, im wondering if im still a commerce user of if im a td user now, and if it doesn't work like that, then holy shit. where is all my money? where are the safety deposit box contents?
so i look up the story online, and apparently td [td waterhouse, this is where you've heard of them. big stock fund] had bought out commerce bank for 8.5 million. [seriously, where do they still have the money to do this? --i thought we were in a financial crisis?] long story short, td bank is gluing their sign and color over the old commerce signs. they're keeping everything else within the actual bank the same, including lollypops and doggie treats. i wonder if we get green apple lollypops now instead of the usual red cherry ones?
our economic crisis has gotten me a bit antsy. i won't lie. we are in such a rut, i don't even see how it'll get better for us.
well...
