"mooncake show"

Oct 13, 2008
that's what we [my cousin and i] have affectionately come to call Moonlight Resonance 家好月圓. anyway, i finally finished it last night, and i wasn't as in love with it as i thought i would be. towards the last couple of episodes, i was thinking to myself, omg, maybe this is one of TVB's series that will have a mind blowing ending! but no--it ended rushed, like always. i was really happy that linda and raymond got together at the end because during the whole series, they just built that sweet image of them in our minds, and that was satisfying. but i do have some problems with it, and i doubt it could be called minor.

1. i would have liked to know what happened to fala's baby. i saw a little kid at their table who looked to be about 4-5 years old, but i would have liked to see his face, or known his name or something.

2. before they had cut to 4 years later, the scene was with moses and tavia celebrating tavia's birthday. he had leaned his head on her shoulder and i got the impression that he had died. what happened?! they had focused on that lamp above their heads and dramatically turned it off with a flicker, and why the heck was she crying if he wasn't dead?!

3. because they are my two favorite people, i wanted to know more about raymond and linda. they never talked about whether or not they got married, or if she's still a doctor.

4. and even though i hate kate, and i still hate kate, i would have liked to know more about her relationship with lai lok yi. they had something sweet going on, and they just randomly cut that out, just like how they had inserted how "chiu ping" had a baby during dinner. they never showed her face, so who the fack cares whether or not she had a girl.

but i do have to admit that the scenes between tavia and moses were super cute at the end, when he was holding the kid. their dialogue was cute, how she was saying that he was always threatening her with his possibility of dying at any moment, and how she had to have kids with him.

so yes, i know this picture isn't when they were filming [but that just goes to show they look good together off screen too!], but every time linda and raymond had a scene, i would always focus a little harder. when i watch TVB series, i try not to think. because if i think, i can always guess what's going to happen next. let's face it, TVB doesn't leave room for creativity. so anyway, when i saw linda just throw away their relationship for bosco -- i was floored. but that just made it all the better when they were back together at the end. my favorite couple by far. <3

i also have a carrie song up. i dont have a particular favorite right now, so, a carrie song can't hurt. her songs are always good to me :]
